Purpose and scope of this notice

This legal notice sets out the terms on which the www.macrofleet.hu website (the “website”) may be used, how we protect its content, our names and our systems, and the rules on liability that apply to its use.

The website is operated by Macrofleet Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (Macrofleet Kft.; registered office: 1134 Budapest, Váci út 47.; company registration number: 01-09-335282; registered with the Company Registry Court of the Budapest-Capital Regional Court (Fővárosi Törvényszék Cégbírósága)). Further company details and contact information are available in the Imprint.

The website is for information purposes only: it presents Macrofleet Kft., the Tabula fleet management software, the related services and content. The use of Tabula and of the services is governed not by this notice but by the contract concluded between Macrofleet Kft. and the contracting party using the services (the “Contracting Party”), together with its annexes.

By browsing the website, visitors acknowledge the terms below. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.

Copyright

The entire content of the website – in particular its texts, graphic and visual elements, illustrations, icons, screenshots, structure, visual identity and source code – is protected by copyright under Act LXXVI of 1999 on Copyright (the “Copyright Act”). The rights belong to Macrofleet Kft. or to third parties who have made content available under licence.

You may view the website and quote parts of it within the limits permitted by law, provided that the source (Macrofleet, www.macrofleet.hu) is clearly acknowledged.

Without the prior written consent of Macrofleet Kft., you may not:

• reproduce, adapt, distribute or communicate to the public the website or any part of it – its text, images, visual identity, structure or source code;
• copy the website or any part of it, or use it on your own or a third party’s website, in documents or in offers;
• use the content of the website for commercial purposes;
• embed (frame) the website in another page or display it in a way that conceals its source.

Names and distinctive signs

The names “Macrofleet” and “Tabula”, together with their distinctive lettering and graphic representation, are distinctive signs of Macrofleet Kft. They are also protected under Act XI of 1997 on the Protection of Trade Marks and Geographical Indications and Act LVII of 1996 on the Prohibition of Unfair Market Practices and Restriction of Competition.

Without the prior written consent of Macrofleet Kft., they may not be used – in whole, in part or in a confusingly similar form – in the name of another product or service, in a domain name, social media account, advertisement or keyword advertising, or in any way that suggests a connection, partnership or endorsement by Macrofleet Kft.

Any other company names and brand names mentioned on the website are the property of their respective owners.

Screenshots

Screenshots of the Tabula interface are for illustration only and contain fictitious data. Any resemblance to real persons, vehicles or companies is coincidental.

The images and graphics on the website are copyright-protected content of Macrofleet Kft.; section 2 applies to them as well.

Automated data collection and artificial intelligence

Downloading, collecting or copying the content of the website in bulk by automated means – programs, robots or scraping scripts – is not permitted without the prior written consent of Macrofleet Kft. This does not affect indexing by search engines or the display of content in search results.

Under Section 35/A(1)(b) of the Copyright Act, Macrofleet Kft. expressly reserves its rights against text and data mining of the website content, and in particular against the use of the content to train or develop artificial intelligence models. This reservation is also provided on the website in machine-readable form.

Website security

It is prohibited to disrupt or endanger the operation of the website and the systems serving it, in particular by:

• unauthorised access or attempted access, or circumventing security measures;
• unauthorised vulnerability scanning, penetration testing or load testing;
• denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, or placing or distributing malicious code;
• unauthorised modification of the website’s content or operation.

Such acts may give rise to civil liability and to criminal liability under Section 423 of Act C of 2012 on the Criminal Code (breach of an information system or data). Macrofleet Kft. investigates security incidents and, where necessary, refers them to the competent authorities.

Nature of the content

Macrofleet Kft. compiles and updates the content of the website with care. The content is for information only; it does not constitute an offer or professional or legal advice, and it does not create any contractual obligation.

Macrofleet Kft. aims to keep the website available continuously and free of errors, but does not guarantee that it will be available without interruption at all times. Access may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, development or unforeseen events.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Macrofleet Kft. accepts no liability for decisions based on the content of the website or for their consequences. This exclusion does not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or to damage resulting from a breach of contract that harms life, physical integrity or health.

The website may contain links to third-party websites. Macrofleet Kft. is not responsible for their content, availability or data processing; their use is governed by the terms of the site concerned.

Data protection

The website does not use cookies and does not use visitor tracking or advertising tools. It remembers your chosen language and appearance (light or dark) only in your browser’s session storage, without any personal data; the Cookie notice explains this in detail. Details of how personal data is processed are set out in the Privacy notice.

In case of infringement

Macrofleet Kft. takes action against infringements of its copyright, its distinctive signs and the security of the website. To this end, it may call on the infringer to cease the infringement and may use the civil, copyright, industrial property and criminal law remedies available to it.

If you find content on the website that you believe infringes your rights, please let us know using the contact details on the Contact page; we will investigate your report.

Governing law and amendments

This notice and the use of the website are governed primarily by European Union law and, secondarily, by Hungarian law, in particular Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code and the Copyright Act. Disputes are heard by the Hungarian court having jurisdiction over the registered office of Macrofleet Kft., without prejudice to any different jurisdiction rules protecting consumers.

Macrofleet Kft. reserves the right to amend this notice. Amendments take effect on publication on the website; the version currently in force is always available on this page.

The website and its legal documents are available in the languages offered on the website. Versions in other languages are translations provided for information only; in the event of any discrepancy, the Hungarian version prevails.

Purpose and scope of this notice

This notice explains what personal data Macrofleet Kft. processes, for what purposes, on what legal basis and for how long, to whom it discloses the data, how it protects them, and what rights data subjects have. It is provided under Articles 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

This notice covers the processing operations that Macrofleet Kft. (the “Controller”) determines on its own: operating the www.macrofleet.hu website, handling enquiries, the data of contact persons of our contractual partners – the contracting parties using our services (the “Contracting Parties”) and our other business partners –, complaint handling and operating our LinkedIn page.

This notice does not apply to the Tabula platform. The processing of personal data recorded in Tabula is governed by the service contract concluded with the Contracting Party and its data processing document. Tabula data is stored in the European Union, in a data centre operating in Hungary.

Principles and legal bases

We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) and Hungarian law: lawfully, fairly and transparently, for specified purposes, to the extent necessary, accurately, for no longer than necessary and securely.

The legal bases of our processing under Article 6(1) GDPR are:

• point (b) – performance of a contract, or steps taken prior to entering into a contract;
• point (c) – compliance with a legal obligation (for example, retention of accounting records);
• point (f) – the legitimate interests of the Controller, which we always assess by means of a balancing test.

We do not currently carry out any processing based on consent. Should we do so in the future, consent may be withdrawn at any time without giving reasons. You are not obliged by law or contract to provide your personal data; however, without the data needed for your enquiry, for maintaining contact or for investigating a complaint, we cannot respond, stay in contact or investigate the complaint.

Processing operations

The website does not use cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. The language selector and the appearance switch remember the selected language and appearance in the browser’s session storage (sessionStorage); this contains no personal data, is not transmitted from the browser and is deleted when the browser tab is closed. Recipients and processors

Personal data is accessible only to those of our staff who need it to perform their duties. We engage processors only under a written contract providing the guarantees required by Article 28 GDPR.

We do not transfer personal data outside the European Union. We disclose data to authorities (for example courts, investigating authorities or the NAIH) only in the cases and to the extent required by law.

Data security

Our information security management system is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022. We protect personal data with role-based access control, encrypted data transmission, logging and regular backups, and we review risks regularly. Our staff and processors are bound by confidentiality.

Your rights

Under Articles 15–22 GDPR, data subjects have the right to:

• access – request information about and a copy of the data we hold about them;
• rectification – request the correction of inaccurate data;
• erasure – request the deletion of their data where there is no further legal basis for processing;
• restriction of processing – for example, while the accuracy of the data is contested;
• data portability – receive the data processed on the basis of a contract in a machine-readable format;
• object – object at any time to processing based on legitimate interest.

We do not carry out solely automated decision-making or profiling.

Please address your request to the data protection officer. We will respond without undue delay and within one month at the latest; where justified, this period may be extended by a further two months, in which case we will inform you. Providing information and taking action are free of charge.

Remedies

If you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes your rights, please contact us first so that we can resolve the matter as quickly as possible. You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority or go to court.

Data subjects may also go to court. Such proceedings fall within the competence of the regional courts and, at the data subject’s choice, may also be brought before the regional court of their place of residence or stay.

Personal data breaches

If the security of personal data is breached, we record the breach and – if it poses a risk to the rights of data subjects – notify the NAIH within 72 hours at the latest. If the breach poses a high risk, we also inform the data subjects without delay (Articles 33–34 GDPR).

Children’s data and special categories of data

We do not process personal data of children or special categories of personal data.

Changes to this notice

We update this notice in line with changes in the law and in our data processing practice. The version currently in force is always available on this page; changes take effect on publication.

What cookies are and what the rules cover

A cookie is a small data file that a website places in the visitor’s browser and reads back on a later visit. Other technologies serve similar purposes: the browser’s local and session storage (localStorage, sessionStorage), tracking pixels, identifiers embedded in links, and fingerprints derived from device characteristics.

In the European Union, under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC), information may be stored on or read from a visitor’s device only with the visitor’s prior, informed consent, unless this is strictly necessary for transmitting a communication or for providing a service explicitly requested by the visitor. In Hungary, this rule is laid down in Section 155(4) of Act C of 2003 on Electronic Communications.

According to Guidelines 2/2023 of the European Data Protection Board, the rule applies not only to cookies but also to the similar technologies listed above. Where the information stored or read is personal data, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) also applies.

Our practice

The macrofleet.hu website does not read any information from the visitor’s device that could be used for identification or tracking, and with one exception it does not store any data there: it remembers the chosen language and appearance in the browser’s session storage. This applies to all language versions of the website (Hungarian, English, Spanish and Polish) and means in practice that it:

• does not use cookies, either its own or third-party cookies;
• does not use the browser’s local storage (localStorage) or any other persistent browser-side storage;
• opens each language version at a separate address (URL); the website opens according to the device’s language and appearance settings (light or dark mode); the language selector and the appearance switch remember the selected language and appearance in the browser’s session storage (sessionStorage). This entry records only this choice, contains no personal data, is not transmitted from the browser and is deleted when the browser tab is closed;
• does not use analytics, advertising, remarketing or social media tools or tracking pixels, and does not create device fingerprints;
• does not require you to log in and contains no forms.

The fonts, images, styles and scripts of the pages are loaded exclusively from the website’s own server. The website does not use external fonts, external content delivery networks (CDNs), embedded maps or videos, so the fact of your visit is not passed on to any third party.

To display the page, your browser uses your screen size and display settings (for example, a request for reduced motion) locally on your device, so that the layout and animations adapt to them. This information stays on your device and does not reach the website’s server.

Why there is no cookie banner

Consent is required where a website stores information on, or reads it from, the visitor’s device and this is not strictly necessary either for transmitting a communication or for a service explicitly requested by the visitor. The only storage used by macrofleet.hu – remembering the chosen language for the duration of the session – is strictly necessary for the language switch you explicitly request, so it may be used without consent; the website carries out no other storage or reading. A cookie banner or consent management tool is therefore not needed and would only create the false impression that the website tracks its visitors.

The website’s functions – menus, expandable elements and contact details shown on click – work without cookies or browser-side storage. The language switch does not use cookies either: it remembers the chosen language only for the duration of the session.

What happens technically when you visit

To display the pages, your browser connects to the website’s server. During the connection, the server logs the data needed for operation (for example, the IP address, the time of the request, the address of the page viewed and the browser type) and retains it for no more than 30 days for secure operation. This is not a cookie and does not take place on your device; details are set out in the Privacy notice.

Your browser may temporarily keep downloaded files in its own cache so that pages load faster. This is part of how the browser works, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

External links

Some links on the website lead to other websites, for example our LinkedIn page, Google Maps or pages for verifying certificates. They open only when you click them. The websites opened may use their own cookies; their operators’ notices apply to these.

How you can check

In your browser’s developer tools (usually opened with the F12 key or via “Inspect” in the right-click menu), the “Application” or “Storage” tab shows which cookies and stored data a website has created. For macrofleet.hu, the cookie list is empty; session storage shows at most the entry for the chosen language and appearance, which is deleted when the browser tab is closed.

If our practice changes

If we were to use cookies or similar technologies on the website in the future, we would inform you on this page in advance. Storage strictly necessary for a function explicitly requested by the visitor – such as remembering the chosen language – is permitted by law without consent; any other, non-essential tool, such as analytics, would be used only with the visitor’s prior consent. The version currently in force is always available on this page.
